Rebecca Reischer, Psy. D.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

PSYCHOTHERAPY

There are many valid and unique reasons why people decide to come to therapy.  Some people come to work on long standing issues that may stem from their family of origin.  Others come to work on a particular problem or roadblock that they feel is getting in the way of their personal goals and aspirations.  There are those who come simply to figure out how to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Some of Dr. Reischer’s personal interests and areas of expertise include working with the following:

· Life Balance and Stress Management (work/life balance, relationship roadblocks, impasses to personal growth, etc.)

· Anxiety (chronic worry, generalized anxiety, social phobia, etc.)

· Depression (sad mood -long standing and/or situational)

· Life Transitions (divorce, breakups, difficulty navigating through new life stages/experiences, loss or bereavement, etc.)

· Women’s Issues (post partum “baby blues”, adjusting to new motherhood,  infertility, weight loss or management, etc.)

CONSULTATION

While there are some issues or problems that are more nuanced and take a longer time to work through, there are other situations that call for more short term work with a specific focus.

This might include:

· Parenting skills/Coaching
· Creative Roadblocks
· Career Development and Executive Coaching
